Tips on improving the spirit and motivation to run

Running and jogging is an easy, inexpensive and effective exercise to improve body health and as a means of losing weight. But not everyone has the motivation or passion for doing jogging (especially in the morning).

In the following article, Tips and Tricks will give you some ways to improve your spirits for running/jogging.

Listen to music while running

Listening to music while running can avoid boredom and some types of music will be able to make your spirits pump and run farther than usual. Make a playlist of songs with the rhythm and tempo of music that match the distance and speed of the run you want.

Run with friends

If you have friends who like to run or follow a club that likes to run then you will have trouble finding excuses for not running/jogging. This is because by having a friend run then your self will be motivated and more excited.

Vary the running route

Many runners are bored with the same route that goes every day. Therefore, in order not to saturate and bored, it is recommended to vary the running route and to vary the degree of difficulty in running (eg route of climb & derivation).

In addition to avoiding saturation when running, variations in intensity and difficulty in running sports also have an advantage in improving the strength and endurance of leg muscles.

Eliminates stress and depression

Although running physically will make you tired, but running can improve physical and spiritual health such as improving sleep quality, relieving stress, reducing depression and calming the mind. Running/jogging makes you forget about life problems for a while and keeps you excited about running your daily activities, this can be a powerful motivator to keep running.

When running alone, then assume when your jogging/running is a personal time where you forget all your routines and obligations in the office and at home. Use that time with selfishness like thinking about life goals and dreams.

Imagine the finish line when running

Whether it's running alone or together with a friend imagining the finish line (end of practice) before starting jogging can motivate you to keep running even if your feet are tired.

Imagine the final result to be achieved

If the ultimate goal is to lose weight by running, it will be very helpful if you imagine yourself when the weight will go down, look thinner, fitter and can wear the clothes of dreams previously narrow and not fit.

This is very effective in improving the spirit and motivation to run because by imagining the results and the satisfaction that will be achieved will force your body to keep moving.
